About
Built by a teacher, for teachers.
Hi, I'm Stone. I teach, and I built Hero's Homeroom because the tools I wanted for my classroom didn't exist.
There's always a kid in every class who does everything right and never gets noticed for it. I wanted a way to reward that kid. Something that made the right behavior visible without turning the room into a leaderboard or a lecture.
But I also didn't want something that added to my day. I wanted something my students and I could both be into. Something where the tools I was already using (the noise monitor, the spinner, review games) felt connected to something students actually cared about.
So I built Hero's Homeroom. It's an RPG layer for your classroom: students earn XP, level up, choose a class, collect pets, and spend gold on real classroom privileges. The aesthetic is old-school browser RPG, think AdventureQuest and RuneScape. The tools were already there. This just gives students a reason to care about them.
It's still being built. If something isn't working for you or you have an idea, reach out.
